The evergreen trees stand tall and proud in the forest, their waxy green leaves reflecting in the low winter sun, the frost that coats the pine needles glistening like the stars of the night sky. These trees remind us that life endures even in the coldest of months, and it will return once more.

Snow crunches beneath our boots, birds huddle together for warmth in their nests above in the treetops, and deer scuffle in the distance as we journey out deep into the woods to find the perfect tree for our home.

A lone candle flickered, casting playful shadows against the wall as Scrooge bent over his ledgers, the air sharp with silence and a heart closed to the world. Outside, winter pressed against the panes, but inside the chill ran deeper.
Smells Like: Crisp winter air edged with orange and spice, drifting through the chill of weathered stone. Birch and cedar follow close behind, softened by faint traces of vanilla and smoky wood with just the slightest ember of warmth buried beneath the chill.
