Description

Rediscover the charm of an old-fashioned Christmas with these four nostalgic candles inspired by beloved holiday traditions, familiar Christmas characters, and the simple wonders of Christmases past. Each whimsical scent-scape brings a cherished piece of Christmas nostalgia to life.
This collection includes...
🕯️Old Saint Nick: Ruby-red cranberries, freshly peeled oranges, and a merry medley of warm nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and a drizzle of buttery vanilla.
🕯️The Village Postmaster: Handwritten letters, cooled sealing wax, worn leather of a well-traveled satchel, and a steaming flask cinnamon-spiced apple cider.
🕯️'Twas the Night Before Christmas: Freshly cooled sugar cookies topped with clouds of sweet peppermint frosting, velvety sandalwood mingled with glowing amber, and fragrant pine drifting from the Christmas tree.
🕯️The Holly Merchant (BONUS SCENT): Great bundles of freshly snipped pine and silver-tipped fir boughs with tart bayberries tucked between the branches, sticky balsam resin, and amber warmth from the Merchant’s lantern.

Shipping & Order Process

✨ Shipping & Order Process We don’t believe in fast fashion, fast food, or fast fragrance. At Mythologie, every candle is “slow-crafted” — made to order in our Northern Washington studio by artisans who care deeply about scent, story, and experience. Your candle begins its journey after you place your order, not before. We mass produce products— we pour each with intention, using our custom wax blend and exclusive fragrance profiles. This means we take a little more time to process your order & create your candle; typically 5–7 business days before shipping — but what you receive is anything but ordinary. 💌 You’ll receive email updates as your order moves through our studio. If you have any questions along the way, we’re just a message away. Thank you for choosing slow-crafted scent in a world that moves too fast. 👉 For full shipping timelines and FAQs, visit our Shipping Information page.

Ingredients & Materials

✨ Ingredients & Materials Each candle is made-to-order in our artisan boutique studio in Northern Washington, using elevated ingredients chosen for their quality, safety, and story-rich character. We believe luxury lives in the details — and you’ll feel that with every flicker. 🕯️ Wax We use a creamy, clean-burning coconut-apricot wax — a sustainable alternative prized by boutique perfumers and artisan chandlers for its smooth finish and excellent scent throw.

Soy-free, making it a gentler option for those prone to allergies or headaches
Burns cleanly and evenly, with no soot, smoke, or harsh chemical scent
Has a low melting point, meaning it never gets too hot — safer for your space and family
Naturally creamy and soft to the touch, creating an indulgent experience even before the flame is lit

Customers who are sensitive to traditional or soy candles consistently tell us: “This is the first candle I can burn without issues — and it smells like heaven.” 🔥 Wicks

Regular & Sample Sizes: Feature lead-free cotton wicks for a soft, steady burn.
Signature Deluxe: Hand-fitted with an all-natural wooden wick that crackles like a miniature hearth, transforming your space into a sanctuary.

🌿 Fragrance Our scents are custom-developed in collaboration with master perfumers, and crafted exclusively for Mythologie Candles.

Phthalate-free and safe for pets and for indoor use
Blended using a mix of high-end fragrance oils and essential oils
Designed to evoke emotion, memory, and ancient storylines

You won’t find these blends in any mass-market candle. 🍯 Vessels Our vessels are both beautiful and reusable:

Signature Deluxe: Weighty amber glass with a laser-etched wooden lid, featuring our mythic seal.
Regular: Simple and elegant, with a black twist-on metal lid.
Sample Tins: Compact, travel-ready, and ideal for discovery or gifting.

Every vessel is designed to live beyond the flame — as a memory keeper, match jar, or storage piece.

Candle Care Tips

1) For the first burn, let the candle burn for up to 3-4 hours - or until the melted "pool" reaches the edge. (Typically 1-2 hours for a 2oz sample size.) This prevents tunneling! Candles have memory! 2) Always trim your wooden wick to 1/8 inch. If your wick is too long, the flame will be too big and can become a fire hazard and also give off wisps of smoke that shouldn't be there. (Nail clippers work great for wooden wicks!) 3) Clear any debris from your candle before burning, including any soot build-up on the wick. This will help your candle to last longer and burn cleaner! Never burn near anything flammable. 4) Always place your candle on a non-flammable surface! All candle vessels will get hot - be sure to place your candle on a proper candle holder or heat-safe surface that will not burn or ignite. 5) Never leave a candle unattended! In addition, be sure there is nothing nearby your candle that can ignite (hairspray, a wall, paper, a lamp, a pillow, etc.) 6) Enjoy your candles! Mythologie Candles are meant to transport you to another time, world, or dimension! Science proves that scent can alter the mood for the better: enjoy the fully immersive experiences Mythologie Candles provide whenever you need a pick-me-up, inspiration, or an immersion into your favorite book, movie, or game!

How customers discovered the difference between decoration and true atmospheric immersion

I'm in love. I lit this for the first time on a rainy Saturday evening, and the room was transformed. The scent was earthy and it felt like we were sitting in a forest. It's used up already and I can't wait to get the new one.

Gothic Cathedral Candle

Love this scent. I would not equate it to Scotland honestly, but it has such a nice musky scent that I just love.

Gothic Cathedral Candle

This is a good masculine autumn candle. I definitely smell the musky leather, a hint of vanilla, and I think I can make out some clove. This reminds me of a Gentleman's candle that he might have burning while smoking a cigar in a leather arm chair.

The Dullahan

This candle is incredible. The scent immediately took me back to an old church/cathedral. This candle is a memory in itself. A memory I never knew I needed to regain. The incense is a very rare smell and I am so so happy to have found it. The notes are spot on for this candle. I absolutely LOVE it!

Gothic Cathedral Candle

If my fondest childhood Halloweens could be captured in a jar, this candle would be it. The scent instantly carries me back to crisp October nights, walking hand in hand with my parents through chilly neighborhoods.
