Hello! I'm Leah McHenry, the founder, and creator of Mythologie Candles. 

My love affair with fantasy started when I was a child when my dad read C.S. Lewis to my sister and me when we were little. When I saw the BBC-produced films of The Chronicles of Narnia, I was hooked for life.

From there, I became obsessed with anything related to historic fiction and fantasy. I also learned about my heritage and ancestry, which is Scottish, Irish, and English, and that was all I needed to delve deeper into that world.

I love everything about Celtic culture, including the mythology (which C.S. Lewis & J.R.R. Tolkien drew from heavily in their writings), history, landscapes, architecture, religious past, and culture. Basically everything!

And of course, fantasy fits along very nicely because it lends itself so naturally to the already crazy & epic stuff that's happened there. 

If this is the first time we've ever "met" you might not know I'm mostly known as the singer/songwriter LEAH. I write Celtic & Fantasy-Inspired music - a lot of it is heavy metal! My 5th, and latest album is a Medieval & World-inspired holiday album. You can check it out here. 

All that to say, I'm all in! Fantasy and history inspire me through and through, from my own home decor, to the music flowing through my blood, to the fragrances I create in my candles. 

I started Mythologie Candles out of pure fun. I love it. I love creating things that we use to transform a home into a castle. Fragrance immediately says something about who you are and the story you want to tell about yourself right now. And that story is ever-evolving and changing...
